Each of these recent pieces is taken from fragments of my memory of farm scenes I have seen and photographed here in south central Texas at the foot of the Hill Country.  These pastoral scenes are on the surface calm and peaceful outwardly show the quiet country scene. But as with all things underneath it can be a treacherous series of events waiting to happen, to engulf the watcher. I endeavor to show both sides.

These following are part of a new years series about landscape  collage.

Nothing particularly different except,

They are an abstraction, A different look at my surroundings infused into these pieces of color and texture to portray what I seeb and feel about what is around me. Some are very structured in ther composition, while others are more loose and free.
